An Alternate Present |
Description: |
In a world where BN never sold the United District to the Willamette & Pacific, this might have been an everyday occurrence. But this was the first time (to knowledge) that locomotives of this size ever crossed the Holcomb Creek Trestle. ES44C4 6746 and ES44AC 5899 had the honors! |

Don't Look Down! |
Description: |
The conductor seems vo have been overcome by a sudden bout of vertigo and is checking out the lengthy drop to the ground. Luckily for him and everyone involved, the trestle held up beautifully. |

Guests of Honor |
Description: |
BNSF contacted the Portland & Western to&store some baretable (intermodal) cars for them. In response, the P&W cleared several miles of the former Port of Tillamook Bay RR for the storage of said cars and BNSF pupplied the power for them. The P&W supplied the crews so while these are BNSF locomotives, it's a P&W crew. |
